MEET CHEROKEE SPIRIT

 

 

Hello, I'm Cherokee Spirit, team leader for the Native Pride team at The Wild Frontier. I am also co-owner of The Wild Frontier, which has been a dream of mine for a long time. I am very partial to the west, being from there and thought maybe a competition that was western was a good idea. From the looks of the turnout of people wanting to join and the great comments we are getting, it was a good idea.

My real name is Evelyn, but I am known to everyone by "Lynn". I have been around the competitions for several years, competing with the Site Wars first on the Pharoah team. Then my team moved to the Wizards Quest and the name was changed to Brigadoon. I loved being a member of Brigadoon and my site, Cherokee Dreams was a 3x Champion. My site competed in the Wizards Cup in January 2003 and although I didn't win, Cherokee Dreams is still a winner. I am very proud of Cherokee Dreams and if you haven't seen it, you can see it HERE.

I live in Tucson, Arizona, but am a native Californian. I am Cherokee, Choctaw, Irish and English and love exploring my culture. I'm single. I have 2 grown sons and 1 grandson. I have a half-breed dog (Pekinese/Chihuahua) named Coco, who is my greatest friend and companion. I'm a medical transcriptionist and work at home. I also have a web design business that I share with a friend of mine, Sharon, who is also the Head Graphics Designer for this comp. My business site is SharLynn Web Designs. As I said, I am the co-owner of The Wild Frontier and Team Leader of a wonderfully spirited native team. I enjoy my job very much. I try to make this a fun place to compete and try to do things that will net my teams Spirit Points.

I had some wonderful awards that members of my team had given me, but had a computer crash and lost everything, so need to start all over again. Those awards meant a lot to me as it meant I was doing a good job and I hated to lose them.

I was the team leader of another Native team before starting this competition and this team. Some of the members of the Native Spirits team made a tribute page for me.
